The pinnacle of desanding technology.
Hydrahead's GEN-X Desander is the leader in sand separation, ensuring optimal performance in extreme conditions.
Desander GEN-X: Protect Your Pumps
Proudly Manufactured and Designed in the U.S.A

-
Solid Protection: Safeguards ESP equipment by efficiently removing solids, reducing impeller wear, and extending your pump life.
-
No tailpipe: Doesn't plug or restrict production. Allows for major fluid over the pump.
-
Long-term positive production creates well equilibrium and repacking of the well. Reduces chance of sanding in the well.
-
Maintenance-Free: No screens or filters to replace, ensuring ongoing reliability without hassle.
-
Energy-Efficient: Low-pressure loss saves energy and maintains system reliability.
-
Fine Solids Separation: Efficiently removes solids from 40 microns and above
-
Easy Installation: User-friendly, and reusable.
-
Improved internal accelerating slots optimize solids-removal efficiency.
-
Counters Sand Slugging, especially at the outset of production.
-
Mitigates risks of ESP pump malfunctions and defends against shaft breaks.
-
Ensures the productivity index stays consistent with minimal pressure variation.
-

Desander Gen X Technology
The downhole desander is designed for ESP and PCP pump protection. These units remove sand from the production fluids before they enter the pump. The units can be installed in several configurations in vertical and moderately deviated oil and gas production wells. Units are designed with a two-to-one turn down ratio in most cases with flow rate from 100 bbld to 20,000 bbld per unit.
